Weighted Votes

Weighted votes are values assigned individually to each voter. By default, every voter has a weight of 1. For each ballot, voter configurations reset to the default values.

Weights can be assigned in two ways:

  1. During voter import via CSV: Include the weight column in the CSV file when adding voters to the platform.
  2. After voters are assigned to a ballot: In the users table, click Edit for a specific voter. The Weighted Votes option will appear, where you can set the desired weight for that voter.

A voter with a weight different from 1 will have their vote count equal to the assigned weight.

Note: Weighted votes are applied only in nominative elections, referendums, and surveys, and in surveys, only for single-choice and multiple-choice types.
