This section enables administrators to define the content of the ballot by adding one or more questions. To begin the process, click the “+ New Question” button. Upon selection, a configuration panel will appear on the right-hand side of the interface, presenting a list of available question types.
Single Choice questions allow the administrator to enter a question with multiple possible answers, of which the voter may select only one. Additional configuration options include marking the question as Mandatory, randomizing the display order of the answer options, and disabling Blank and Null votes—if those were previously enabled in the general ballot settings. The possible answers to the question can be added by clicking on "+ Add", once the question is ready, it can be saved by clicking the button in the below left part of the modal "Add"
Multiple Choice questions also allow for multiple answer options; however, voters may select more than one response. In addition to the settings available in single-choice questions, administrators can specify both a Minimum and Maximum number of answers a voter is allowed to select. As with single choice, options exist to mark the question as Mandatory, randomize option order, and disable Blank and Null votes if applicable. The possible answers to the question can be added by clicking on "+ Add", once the question is ready, it can be saved by clicking the button in the below left part of the modal "Add".
Scoring questions permit respondents to evaluate a subject based on a numerical scale. Configuration options include the ability to mark the question as Mandatory, randomize the option order, and choose from several scoring scales: 5-Point Scale (1–5), 10-Point Scale, or Net Promoter Score (0–10). Once the question is ready, it can be saved by clicking the button in the below left part of the modal "Add"
Cumulative Scoring questions allow voters to distribute a predetermined number of points across multiple answer options. Administrators can define the total number of points available per voter and choose to make the question Mandatory and/or randomize the option order. The possible answers to the question can be added by clicking on "+ Add", once the question is ready, it can be saved by clicking the button in the below left part of the modal "Add".
Input Text questions enable voters to submit open-ended responses. These can be marked as Mandatory and configured to allow different response lengths, including Short Text, Medium Text, and Long Text. Once the question is ready, it can be saved by clicking the button in the below left part of the modal "Add".
Ranking questions allow voters to rank a list of options in order of preference. Settings include marking the question as Mandatory, randomizing the display order of options, and specifying the Maximum Rankable Options, which limits the number of ranked choices considered in the final results. The possible answers to the question can be added by clicking on "+ Add", once the question is ready, it can be saved by clicking the button in the below left part of the modal "Add".
Yes or No questions present voters with a binary choice between “Yes” and “No.” These can also be designated as Mandatory.
Simple Text is a non-interactive field used for providing context, titles, or instructions within the ballot. It does not contain selectable options and does not require any action from voters.
At the bottom of the question configuration panel, three buttons are provided:
- Add: Confirms the current question settings and adds the question to the ballot.
- Cancel: Discards the configured settings and returns to the list of previously created questions.
- Previous: Navigates back to the question type selection menu, allowing the administrator to choose a different question format.
This modular and flexible configuration process enables precise customization of survey content, accommodating a wide range of electoral and consultative requirements.
Once all necessary questions have been configured, a list is displayed showing each question along with its type and text. Two action buttons are provided: "Edit" to modify the question, and "X" to delete it. To the left of each question, an icon is available that, when clicked and held, allows the administrator to drag and reorder the questions as needed.
From this screen, you can click the "Preview your Ballot" button located at the bottom right to view how the ballot will appear to voters.
