Voting Process and Transaction Reference

Casting a Vote

To participate in a ballot, the voter selects the relevant card displayed on the dashboard. Before proceeding, the platform requires confirmation of the privacy policy, the terms and conditions, and a declaration that the user is the legitimate account holder.
After these confirmations, clicking Confirm redirects the voter into the ballot interface.

Understanding the Ballot Interface

At the top of the ballot page, the voter will find the title and description of the ballot.
Below this section, the full list of voting items is displayed — such as candidates, questions, or selectable options — depending on the ballot configuration.

The voting process varies depending on the ballot type. Each type is described in detail below.

Nominative Election

In a nominative election, the voter sees a list of candidates or items displayed as selectable tiles.

  • If the ballot includes configuration rules (e.g., minimum or maximum number of items that can be selected), a notice is shown above the list.
  • The voter selects the desired candidates/items by clicking their tiles.

Once the selections are complete, clicking Submit casts the vote.
After submitting, refer to Transaction Reference page.

Cumulative Election

The ballot displays a list of candidates, each with an input box on the right.
The voter distributes points among candidates according to the configured total allowed by the ballot creator.

  • If the voter exceeds the total allowed score, a message appears indicating the maximum number of points permitted.

After assigning points, clicking Submit casts the vote.
After submitting, refer to Transaction Reference page.

Preference Election

This type allows the voter to rank candidates or items in order of preference.

  • A list of candidates is displayed.
  • Each item includes two arrows:
    • Up arrow: moves the item one position upward
    • Down arrow: moves the item one position downward

The voter arranges the list from most preferred (top) to least preferred (bottom).

After finalizing the order, clicking Submit casts the vote.
After submitting, refer to Transaction Reference page.

Survey

Surveys may contain a variety of question types. Each behaves as follows:

Single Choice

A question followed by a list of options. Select exactly one by clicking the desired item.

Multiple Choice

A question followed by multiple selectable options.
If a minimum or maximum number of choices is configured, a notice appears under the question.

Input Text

A question requiring a free-text response. The voter writes their answer in the text field provided.

Ranking

Similar to the Preference Election format: the voter orders items using up/down arrows beside each option.

Scoring

A question followed by a numerical scale (e.g., 1–5, 1–10, 0–10).
Select the desired numeric value to respond.

Cumulative Scoring

A list of items, each with a numerical input box. The total allowed score is defined by the ballot creator.
If exceeded, a message indicates the maximum permitted value.

Yes/No

A question offering two options: Yes and No. The voter selects one.

For all survey questions, once all answers are provided, clicking Submit casts the vote.
After submitting, refer to Transaction Reference page.

Referendum

The referendum format presents a single question with two possible choices: Yes or No.

Additionally, depending on ballot configuration, a text box may be available (or required) for feedback.

After making a selection and optionally providing written input, clicking Submit casts the vote.
After submitting, refer to Transaction Reference page.

NPS (Net Promoter Score)

The NPS format presents a scale from 0 to 10.
The voter selects one value within the scale.

After selecting the score, clicking Submit casts the vote.
After submitting, refer to Transaction Reference page.

The Transaction Reference
